It's called the religion and spirituality section and if you are Christian or any other religious believer then religion and spirituality is a place to come and learn more about yours and maybe even other religious beliefs. It is not for those who don't believe in religion and/or spirituality. Who come on this sight only to mock believers. These are the ones who always say "I don't know why my questions are always getting deleted". I know, I know, There just getting picked on and they did nothing wrong except express there opinions.

Aghh, it's all about the "promoting the good word" and all. Religion and Spirituality is just that. ANY religion, and ANY spirituality. I think it's a way for the Yahoo Guys to put us all in a cage and see who gets symbiotic and who becomes meat. If the category was another R&S, as in maybe Rise & Shine (for the Truly Enlightened ;D) this forum would consist of about four people.

And whats so spiritual and religious about being atheist?

At least christianity is under " religion"
And christians have a regenerated spirit to live a spiritual life... but what does anyone else have or do that gives weight to their input here apart from freedom of speech?

Agreed, and not only that, since so many Christians say that it's not a religion, why are they in a category for religion? Maybe there should be a category labeled "Drivel". They say Christianity is a "personal relationship with the creator" or "reality" or "relationship with God, but no, not a religion. It needs a special name to elevate it above the other fairytales. Isn't it wonderful feeling so good about yourself?

Because Christians have just as much right to be here as every other group. This section is for everybody not just certain groups.

I do wish the fundies would go away but don't judge Christianity by the actions of those fundies they're only less than 10%.

Because Christians are spiritual!
And if you make a Christan section then you would have to make a section for everyone and this is a better way to organize things :)

howdy, i will't look to be certain what you're truly asking, yet regarding the remark: "Going returned on the all helpful God. God suffers and dies? Is that your concept of all helpful?" it is referred to as sacrifice. Christians have confidence that without Jesus' sacrifice shall we no longer pass to heaven. it is no longer that He could no longer have stopped it, yet that combating it might have meant damnation for us. as an occasion, childbirth is, via all money owed, painful and unsafe. And yet women individuals who've had toddlers pass get pregnant returned on purpose. Why? because of the fact the stable outweighs the undesirable, besides the reality that it destroys her physique and often even reasons her dying. I say the sacrifices a mom makes instruct her to be sturdy and helpful. How lots greater so while all of us lays down his existence for his pals. incredibly definitely, i'm shocked to pay attention you, of all of us, mocking yet another faith's ideals this way. And re: "What with regard to the Jews who reject the Bible?" one ought to truly counter, what with regard to the Jews who reject the Quran? And the Christians? And the pagans? We the two be attentive to a brilliant form of people purely joined Islam because of the fact they could no longer discover the money for the taxes levied against non-believers in conquered lands. What with regard to the Muslims who reject the religion? human beings have confidence what they decide for. truly, i'm so shocked at your tone and your suggestions-set right here. you're many times lots greater logical and honest minded. i do no longer propose that i'm shocked you disagree :) purely the form you're doing that's out of character (or a minimum of, out of the character i be attentive to).

Christianity is a religion. Don't you know that?

Yet, atheists claim to no religion or spirituality and Atheists spend as much time in here, if not more, as Christians do. I see its not called the Atheist chat either.

This is something to take up with the staff of Yahoo! answers. Maybe you could do this service for us. (I don't want to take the time out of my bible study.) Personally I would like to see a Christian section. If there were one maybe we wouldn't get so many sarcastic questions posted.

You are so correct. Religion and spirituality belong to atheists.
