They like to act like martyrs (or at least the ones that are hateful as some of them aren't) so when someone asks a general question about God they like to attack you acting like everyone else is against them and trying to prove them wrong etc.
To be fair it works the same with athiests some times too, but hey, thats life

I have not read any of your questions so am not sure why you are getting attacked. The thing is the subject of God is a passionate one whether you believe in Him or not. If you are wording your questions in a mean-spirited way then that could be a reason for sharp answers. To insult God to a believer is like you attacking someone we love. We feel we need to defend God, I suppose. But God is a big fella and our little comments don't fizz Him.

I'm sorry if I was ever one of those was rude or hateful to one of you're questions. This site at times seems to really be insulting toward Christians. "Christians: are you just dumb and believe in santa clause" or "You know you're all brain-washed cult followers" . When I come on R&S I want to see something uplifting about my faith. If anyone has a question they want to ask about God, that's sincere- I would never be insulting on purpose. Once again, If I offended you--Sorry!!!

My best guess is that maybe some of your other questions may have been worded in a way that could be construed as confrontational, although I can't tell from this question (looks pretty straightforward to me and I'm too lazy to look up any of your other questions).
Like I said, best guess. That and a lot of "Christians" are total jerkwads who make the rest of us look bad.

Oh yeah?

Try asking a simple question from a Scientologist.

EDIT : If you are going to church and asking questions out of genuine interest and curiosity, any TRUE Christian should be happy to converse with you and answer your queries. If they attack you they are generally not what I consider genuine christians. Jesus said to be open with our beliefs and share. If they can't do that, screw 'em.

Hmmm. You're wondering why some people attack you because you post an offensive and "bait"ed question?

Ask a reasonable and responsible question and see what kind of response you get.

If you attack their belief why do you get mad when they attack what you believe?

Why is it every time I ask a question, I get responces from atheist telling me I believe in an imaginary friend, or something along that line, let me believe what I believe and you go on believing what you believe

My belief is that we should listen to each other with open ears, whether in agreement or not. We should try to help each other.

May God Bless you and keep you in His Mercy.

Well people don't like their flaws being pointed out. Ever try to tell a fat person they're fat or something along those lines? Same logic....

i haven't attacked you or anyone. if you did get rude answers from people then that is an issue they are going to have deal with it on their own time.
