Assuming that I understand the question, you are looking at the Bible through 21st century eyes, when it was written for a society that existed 2000 to 6000 years ago. In case you hadn't noticed, things have changed a bit since then.
But even so, this does not mean that there is or is not a God. It does indicate that the Bible has very little in it to provide evidence either way.

If your question is why I don't believe in god but his morals make sense to me?
Answer: Its not his morals to begin with. your GOD is 1700 years young, while Isis (Egyptian god) 3000 years old had pretty much similar morals like don't kill each other for fun, stealing other mans property, and such. This may shock you, I the atheist, truly believe we got to know about morals because of instant justest called getting your but kicked by the person you done wrong to. Even a monkey will bite an other ones head off for stealing its food, basic common morals derive from logic and reasoning some us of course knew this long before the good book or any other text for that matter had come about, not from a book, and certainly not from god who drowns planet full of defenceless animals, what did they do deserve that?, bring about plague to people, drown army of people, Oder's a man to kill his own son just to see if he'd do it. Because he said so. Also says a lot about the man who's willingness to do it. Do some like this now, you'd be socially crucified wouldn't you.

There is no such thing as what people call God!
Ther are no such thing as right or wrong. It's only what is happening at the moment due to circumstances and natural events, progression etc.
Why do people believe in a Deity that is so far fetched in his doing or undoing, just floors me.
Wake up people, religion is the primal cause of wars, look around and watch what's happening. yahoo member

They do not make sense to you because first you must believe,you yourself must know the difference between right or wrong. You must have a conscience and morals to know and learn the lessons that God gives you to travel through this journey of life.Seek Wisdom,find the true meaning of this word!

When you are young and do not know much about the world, you accept what your parents tell you about the world and God and such.
As you get older and understand the world more, you begin to question these things.
It takes a long time to sort through what different people think to find out what you think.

People do not read their bible. God is the ONLY sensible answer to anything. Some people would rather believe everyone came from goo by way of the zoo to become you. Good luck in believing that!

WHEN WE SAY " HIS SENSE " THAT REFERS TO GOD AS A MALE SPECIES. WHO SAYS THEY ARE GOD 'S SENSE OF RIGHT OR WRONG? THE DO'S AND DONT LAWS ARE IN MANY FAITHS NOT JUST IN CHRISTIANITY.WHEN CREATION FIRST TOOK PLACE ON THIS GLOBE THERE WERE NO LAWS . MANKIND FINALLY CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THEY BEST HAVE LAWS TO KEEP LAW AND ORDER. ITS A GRADUAL PROCESS AND IS STILL GOING ON . NOTICE HOW THE LAWS CHANGE NOW AND THEN !! I HOPE I MAKE SENSE !!!!!
