My friend told me that if I leave my conditioner in overnight, and wrap a towel around my hair, and rinse it out in the morning, that it'd have a stronger conditioning effect. Is this true? The label says to only leave it on for three minutes. It's Garnier Fructis 3 Minute Mask

While Leaving A Deep Conditioner On Your Hair Longer May Improve Results, Leaving It On Overnight Should NOT Be Necessary. Most Modern Conditioners Have A Working Time That Is Pretty Much Fixed So Their Activity Stops After A Certain Time. If You Feel Your Hair Needs More Conditioning Than This, Try Using A Professional PAK (Or Pack)-Type Conditioner And Give It This Pro's "BOOST" Get A Multi-Vitamin Capsule (The Type With POWDER In It) Open The Capsule And Put The Powder In The Palm Of Your Hand. Add 1 Or 2 Tablespoons Of The Conditioner And Mix Them Well, Then Apply It To Your Freshly Shampooed Wet Hair. Cover With A Plastic Cap For 20 Mins Then Rinse. The Results Are Usually Quite Remarkable, Good-Luck!!
