RE:
Is there a Dale Earnhardt museum in Kannapolis or Mooresville, NC?
If there is, it's not on any site I can find. Suppose to be a Dale Jr. "museum" right next to it. If anyone knows, an address would be greatly appreciated.

i just visited DEI in december and i sure didn't see any museum there. so i don't know what these other people are talking about. but there is what's called the 'dale trail', which runs along rt. 3 in moorsville, that takes you to different points of interest related to dale earnhardt. in the town square there's a huge 10 ft tall bronze sculpture of earnhardt that's really cool. there's ralph earnhardts grave site, which has a color carving of his #8 car on the tombstone. there's a loop called 'idiot circle' where earnhardt and tony eury sr. used to go cruising when they were teenagers, among other things. it's definitely very interesting and a must see for earnhardt fans, but again i say, i saw NO museum. if there is one, it isn't very well advertised and it's not mentioned in the brochure for 'the dale trail'.
hey up there lilaudrey, how are you doin' you beautiful, sexy thing you?

Dale Earnhardt Inc in Mooresville has a large collection of memorabilia from Sr's career as well as a gift shop. There is also the RCR museum in Welcome. It is housed in what was the original RCR shop and has over 30 different cars from throughout the history of the team, including many Goodwrench Chevrolets (such as the Daytona 500 winning car, the Oreo car that ran the Bud Shootout in 2001, and Harvick's car from his first win at Atlanta). The museum is in front of the current shop buildings for RCR.

Charles is right. There is a museum on the DEI garage. Includes all of the DEI drivers, but a large part is dedicated to Dale Sr.
