Use AnnualCreditReport.com to get copies of your 3 reports once per year for free. No need to sign up for trial programs.

Getting your score will cost you some extra. Make sure you are ordering the FICO score. If it doesn't say you are ordering FICO, don't buy it, as it's the only score that means anything. The 3 credit bureaus have decided to try and implement their own scoring system, but nobody else uses it, so don't buy it by accident like I did one time.

you are entitled to one free report from each of the 3 agencies every year (without score) (and without having to subscribe to credit monitoring service) - to one with score - about $10-15 each
