So, finally, at the age of 41 she's expecting a baby! Do you think she was arificially inseminated? A doctor just told me that when a woman over 40 gets pregnant, it's usually with someone else's eggs! Has she been trying this long to get pregnant?

You are not even right for asking this question. lol. But I honestly asked myself the very same question when I heard. How did she do it? was it artificial insemination etc. hmmm we might not know until Gabriel writes his tell all book

My stepmother is 42 and has a 3 and 4 year old. Halle Berry is far from menopause.

I don't really see why someone else's eggs matter to you...

Every woman is different. Halle may not have even hit menopause yet. Sure, she's past her biological prime, but that doesn't completely rule out that those are her eggs in there working. Women in their fifties, almost up to their sixties have been able to naturally bear children.

Who knows. Good for her though. And whatever doctor told you that most women over 40 can't get pregnant on their own is a quack.

I know that she has always wanted a baby, so, if it took this long, maybe she did use someone elses eggs. I guess you won't know unless she releases some statement about it.

my grandmother had a baby at 42yrs of age and she never needed anyone else's eggs. With her schedule being as busy as it has been with all her movies i don't think she really had time to really try to get pregnant.

I don't care to speculate on whether Halle's egg was her own or not, I'm just happy for her to finally get her wish--to have a baby.

Best wishes, Halle!!
