When Christians can convince me THROUGH THEIR ACTIONS that they have the monopoly on virtue, then they can talk to me about the sin they want me to come out of.

I'm not saying that ALL Christians are like this, but there are many "Sunday-morning" Christians who go to the bars more than they do to church. I think that their actions need to speak louder than their words. FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD PEOPLE!!!!!!

I am a long time christian and I neither seek nor wish in any way to convert or try to change anyone perceptions if you have not received a calling and do not wish to talk about our beliefs there would be no more discussions on the subject. Jesus Christ was sent to save - Christians are saved - You have the option nobody can live or make your choices for you!

You don't need to save the Christians. They are already saved.

By the way... Christians don't need the give-give relationship: they expect nothing in return.

This Christian wants nothing to do with your scoffing and mocking. You really need to read the Bible before you go off and make statements based on ignorance. By the way, Jesus died for your sins. You need to concern yourself with Him.

I forgive you your ignorance. I pray that God will direct you to truthful knowledge.

Sorry, but there is no way for you to save me, from myself or anyone else.

Were you pleased with the cleverness of your remark? Did it make any difference to anything in the universe?

Christians cannot save you. Christ can. But you need to be willing. Jesus calls us to love one another.

While they are busy defining "sin" for the world, we can let them stay distracted. It may puzzle them that we can practice "ethical" lives while needing neither deity nor deity's representatives to explain it to us.

I don't try to save them from sin, but from Hell.

And, I ask, of course, is how we would do that...save them from themselves. I suppose we could show them the truth about their religion. The truth that many of us discovered on our own...

No one can save anyone, only Jesus, and even the saved are still corrupt. So to make it fair how about we ask Jesus to save you from hell, and you ask Jesus to save us from ourselves?
