when i was a child i was obsessed with dreams. I could tell the difference between 'real' life and dreams. After a while i tried to control my dreams. In the beginning this was very hard( try running in your dreams). After years of practice i could fly in my dreams and i could summon things and people. I do remember i had to defeat something big to be able to do that. During that time puberty hit so i was very much occupied with the opposite sex in my dreams heh. I had my own holodeck so to speak. I was truly master of my own universe. In the following years i started to lose interest and soon after that i lost control. Now i hardly dream. But the dreams that i do see often come true. I wonder is there someone else out there that was or is master of his dreams? I talked to some friends about this and they all ask me for the secret to unlock the dreamworld. I think the key is fantasy, i was one of those kids that could play alone an entire day without anyone else. Now i 2 need people.

Hate to break it to you, but stop with the obsession. Clinically, with research, clinicians say that any deviation from normal, uninterrupted/manipulated sleep can cause problems in your health. By trying/succeeding to control these dreams you stop the normal flow of Delta Waves (Phase 4) and REM sleep which allows for you brain to fix, file, adjust, and do everything else it has to that it does in sleep. If you have seen that you can't remember certain things as well as you should, this might be reason. This "Mastery" can interfere with memory inscription in the hypothalamus. Seriously, I don't want to be a Debby-downer, but it's not healthy. Yes, it is possible that there are many others and it can be taught, but don;t do it, for your sake.

I don't know if I'd call myself a dream master, but I can relate to what you are saying. I have been interpretating dreams for years. I do have dreams which come to pass, and I know how to program my mind during the day to have the kind of dreams I want at night. And, I can control how the dreams turn out even if it is a bad dream, I can take control and change the outcome.

You sound like an clever, occupation-orientated youthful lady, which I applaud. in case you gave up your dream possibility, as a manner to thrill your boyfriend, does no longer that sacrifice finally replace into an argument on your relationship? you're the two so very youthful, i myself think of 24 is lots too youthful to think of a pair of intense committed relationship - exceptionally one that would require you to sacrifice your individual objectives and plans. Why no longer placed each and every little thing you have have been given into this internship, get the main out of it and make the terrific impact you probable can on your supervisors and co-workers (in fact, do no longer even point out the boyfriend to human beings at artwork). If the internship will become a job possibility in NYC, super. If no longer, there are lots of possibilities interior the DC section. in this element on your existence, your coaching and occupation plans ought to take precedence, and your boyfriend ought to assist you in that. (additionally look at Acela and the different commuter suggestions for return and forth between DC and NYC). I choose you the terrific of success.

you still dream it's just that you don't do much lucid dreaming anymore so you don't remember them like you used to do. as for as controlling your dreams i can still do that but i choose not to. if you can controll your dreams you are probably doing that without realizing it and your sub-conscious is is taking your dreams and making you think that you have foretold the future. dreams only deal with the past and the present. dreams can in know way foretell the future. Sorry!

Uh...you can already "control" your dreams..your brain makes 'em up based on events that have happened (or in some cases) will happen. Nobody gives you a dream, you make it up yourself
