The bride of christ at the end is not literal and I can give you some parts of the bible that can suggest his marriage.

What people don't understand is in the ancient Hebrew belief it was a sin for a man not to be married, further it was a sin for them not to have children. If Christ wasn't married and have children then he sinned and wasn't perfect. Thus wasn't worthy for the great work God had planned for him.

It would/should not make a difference however such a thing as Jesus Christ being married and this event left out of the text seems quiet unlikely.

Because Paul, did not like women. He disliked them, and was very suspicious of them, and felt that there was something wrong with them...and that prejudice is what they are responding to, and why those who are offended, are offended.

If he was married (which would be in keeping with Hebrew standards of the day) then him laying (having sex) with his wife (marriage is *obviously* recognized by Church, and Deity if such exists) would *NOT* be considered a sin. In fact, if Jesus is God, made flesh to live with all the trappings and travails of a man, then, like Adam alone in the garden, he would be incomplete without a wife.

That's a great big broad brush you are painting with there.
Some people may get mad. Not me.
I will not ever give ground on it though because it is important and it does make all the difference in the world. All it is is an attempt to make Jesus common and He isn't.

If it doesn't make any difference, then why are so many people trying to prove it as a fact?

Sorry, not going there.

God bless you.

It does not fit the idea of Jesus that they were given. Most people never question ideas that came from outside themselves! It would make "NO" difference to me if He were married.

Because no where in the Bible does it say that Jesus was married. If you can find it, let me know the Book, chapter, and verse

SILLY.... RABBIT.... TRICKS.... ARE... FOR.. KIDS....!

I am a Christian.... and I don't get.... mad..... AT THE LUNATIC RAVINGS OF THOSE THAT MOCK THE HOLY SCRIPTURES..... And the TRUTH about JESUS!

BECAUSE.... they ... and .... OTHERS..... Reject the TRUTH.... THEY.... WILL GET THEIR ... JUST.... DO !

(Jude 1:17-18-19) But you, beloved, remember the words spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,

(Jud 1:18) because they told you that at the last time there will be = = MOCKERS = = according to their lusts, leading ungodly lives.

(Jud 1:19) These are those setting themselves apart, animal-like ones, not having the Spirit.

Thanks, RR

Speaking only for myself...

It wouldn't make any difference at all if Jesus had been married while on earth. The fact is that He came to offer us the path to the love and mercy of His Father. THAT'S what's important.

And, please, consider your wording. You imply that ALL Christians take offense. Not all do. I am clearly an example of one who doesn't.

The church is the bride and Jesus is the groom so yes in this sense he is married.

Yes it would make a difference because the Bible would be a book of lies....oh, that's right it already is.

You're right, it won't make a difference.
