I like this guy. I thought he liked me. I got up the courage to tell him but he didn’t say whether he liked me or not. At the time, we were both involved w/other people.
Aside from some awkwardness (like we're almost never alone anymore), it's back to normal and I'm back to thinking that he likes me cause he makes it a point to be where I am during breaks and after class and he seeks me out when we're in a group. We still text all night, every night and he makes it a point to hang around me. But then he says things like "the other guys aren't coming (to study) so it'll just me, you don't have to come" and he draws clear lines that are so obvious. I’m thinking that maybe I was wrong and that he doesn’t like me. How can I tell if he just thinks of me as a friend? BTW, he recently told me that he broke up with his GF and I’m separated from my husband although I’m afraid to tell him cause it feels awkward. What do I do?

how can I tell if he thinks of me as just a friend? I'm the only girl in our group, but I see the way he interacts with the rest of them and with other girls in class and he's different around me.

I think that he likes you and wants to be a friend. All so you are a married women. You might tell him be for he finds out from some one else. Tell him the truth and let him make up his own mind. Patches.

I am not sure he is drawing a clear line. He said "you don't have to come" that does not mean you can't come. I think you may be reading his text wrong. Next time he says something like this, ask him, will it be to terrible if I was to come anyway? or hint him in the direction that you would not mind spending time alone with him.

If then he says maybe its best you do not come then you have your answer and move on.

If he says sure, come on then go, sit close enough to where he can make a move if he dares to...flirt a little and see where it leads.

If he's not pursuing you then he's not interested in you in a romantic way. Guys her like a girl will let her know it.
