If I join the National Guard then decide to go into the Air Force after I'm done with my contract with the Guard is that possible?

join the George Bush Division. There is always room because the troops quit half way through their contracts.

You have to apply. but if you are in the Guard and the Air force accepts you, you don't have to complete your contract with Guard, and you will not have a problem leaving the Guard before your enlistment is up. Taking you would be up to the Air Force, to see an AD Recruiter,.

Are you joining the Air National Guard? The Air force is downsizing so I'm not sure how easy that will be anymore.
