Full fat cheeses such as cheddar and stilton. Puddings, such as syllabub and jam roly poly, because of their high fat and sugar content. Peanut butter, full-fat cream and butter, and most soft drinks such as cola and other fizzy varieties which are high in sugar. Pies and pastries (sweet or savoury), any deep-fried foods such as fish and chips, restaurant favourites such as 'special fried rice', 'sweet and sour pork', 'crispy seaweed'. Chocolate digestive biscuits, chocolate bars, Big Macs, Whoppers, Double Cheeseburgers, KFC ... You name it, they all contain high fat levels or are full of sugar and, therefore, contain masses of calories!

No criticism intended against any of the highstreet fast-food chains but, it is a fact, that most dieters fall at this particular hurdle. Having said all that, consumed in moderation, many of these high calorie foods can be enjoyed now and again!

I usually get paid for this but since you seem serious, I'll see if I can help. Okay, you want good calories so stay away from "fried", always say "can I have that chicken grilled". Chicken and Tuna are a excellent source of healthy calories and even more important is the all important "protein" which will help you keep an athletic look. Here is what I try to "advise" clients: Eggs(whole), Fish, Lean Beef, Milk, Brown and white rice, Soybeans, Peanuts, Oatmeal, & potato's.. You've heard the saying that say's "Meats and Potato's", well thats true... Eat em' up. Once you decide and measure out a diet, just stick to it and you'll be fine. Have fun with it and experiment with different types of food. Good Luck

So many foods, especially the delicious ones.

Full fat cheese, cream, cream cakes, biscuits, chocolate, ice cream, cheesecakes, sausage rolls, pasties, pork pies, fizzy drinks, peanuts, walnuts, and of course takeaway foods such as Indian food,Chicken Korma, Chicken Tika Marsala, Chinese food sweet & Sour Chicken Balls, Egg fried rice, pancake rolls (all the fried foods basically), MacDonald's, Kentucky, Pizzas, Kebabs & chips, and Fish and Chips all of which are extremely full of saturated fat, sugar and salt. All of which pile on those unwanted pounds.

These are ok to eat in (moderation only), along with a diet of healthy foods the majority of time.

nuts. wallnuts especially, they contain about 25 calories per nut. avocados, butter, salmon, olive oil, and any other fatty food is going to be very calorie dense.

This is not say that these foods are bad for you. You just have to be aware that some of the healthy foods (olive oil) contain high calorie levels/100grms.

Processed sugar and white bread are normally to be eaten sparingly.

The number of calories in food depends on what group the food is derived from. I Have only listed a few but there are many more.

Just remember that you body is not interested in the food you eat it is interested in the number of calories in the food you eat.

Happy eating...
