I am a struggling furniture maker and had a customer pay with a bogus check. Anyway, I am stuck with these tables and need to sell them fast-WHAT Do I DO?? You can see them at http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6808632. I really need to sell them and have tried furniture shops, consignment, etc. Thanks

If I was in need of tables I would consider buying them. Can't find good home crafted furniture these days. Sign it under pieces you build. That way they know it's your workmanship.
That's the 1st place people look. Usually says Made In China. Burn you signature and think of simple logo.

Next deal - CASH ONLY! Oh yes, don't forget down payment first.

Run add in paper. People are looking for furniture all the time. Especially hand crafted. You can always "dicker," but don't go too low. If they really want it. they will pay.

Keep going, you'll learn as you go.

On a nice day, put them in your front yard with a sign, like a tag sale. If you don't live in a place where you can do that, call all of your friends and family and spread the word. Maybe take a picture and make fliers. Good Luck.

Try posting pictures with ads around town...near apartment buildings...college areas, etc. Someone is bound to be looking for furniture or may decide to replace old ones if they believe it's a good deal.

eBay. And use the option for local city so you don't have to ship them!

Second choice, Craig's List. Good luck! :)
