IF YOU EAT THAT PORK CHOP JUST MAKE SURE YOU COOK IT WELL DONE.

I JUST HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH A HAM .....

YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW BUT WILL GIVE YOU A HINT.

THERE WERE MOVING YOU KNOW WHATS IN IT.. I HAD CUT IT TO THE BONE AND THEY WERE ALIVE.

I RETURNED IT TO THE STORE....AND WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HAM.

It should be okay, as long as it hasn't been out of date for more than 6 months and it was frozen the whole time. Pork is a scary thing if you don't take care of it well.. and cook it well too.

It should be fine...If it hasn't been frozen more than 12 months, there is no reason it shouldn't be edible... Just one thing, check and see that there is no freezer burn on it (that would make it rather like cardboard and tasteless), that happens sometime when things have been frozen too long or badly wrapped.

Assuming the chop has been in the fridge for more than a month, most likely the chop will be very dry and tasteless. Toss it and buy a fresh one. If you cooked it before you froze it (i.e., if it's a "leftover"), then DEFINITELY toss it, before you toss your cookies! ;)
