If it's been frozen since you purchased it, then it should be fine, even if the "sell by" date has passed. The only thing is that the flavor may not be as good if it has frosted over. Should be decent enough- enjoy!

Product dating (i.e. applying "sell by" or "use by" dates) is not required by Federal regulations. However, many stores and processors may voluntarily choose to date packages of raw pork. Use or freeze products with a "sell-by" date within 3 to 5 days of purchase. If the manufacturer has determined a "use-by" date, observe it. It's always best to buy a product before its date expires. It's not important if a date expires after freezing pork because all foods stay safe while properly frozen.

If it wasn't much past the "purchase by" date when it was frozen it should be just fine. If its more than a year old there might be some quality issues tho (safe, but not as tasty)
Defrosted in water and BRANDY? might give an interesting flavor!

As long as it wasn't out of date when you purchased it, and it has been frozen since then, yes, it should be fine.
Take a sniff, and if it smells okay, then there shouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't take a chance on eating it. Pork is "iffy" you could become really sick, just throw it away......better safe than sorry.
