There is something missing.
Only more often than not, if you can rid yourself of these feelings - you find you are just missing the fact that you really do have all you need.

There are those who have a great family, nice kids and a good husband and still feel empty. Although they are not rich, they know they have everything they need to be happy and yet they are not. What they are seeking is a connection with their spiritual part. We are mind, body and spirit...if you neglect your spirit,,you will always feel empty. If you are not a Christian, then find a good Bible you can understand and read the New Testament. Meet Jesus. He loves you just as you are right now.
If you feel this way and are a Christian, then you need to get back to where you were, when you first got saved. Remember the feeling...you felt like you had found the answer..and you did..but if you go chasing after worldly things, you can move away from God....Come on back to the one who really loves you..

I think we all feel like this from time to time. I hope I am not being to forward by asking this but how difficult was it to acquire your goods. I think that sometimes if something comes to easily then you do not really value it. I could suggest you make some more friends and if you have the time support some cause. There are many organisations such as Oxfam and Amnesty International that are always in need of support. If this does nothing else it should remind you how lucky it is to be free and not live in want. I wish you every joy in the future.

We all have moments like that. But we need to keep a journal of the good things that we are grateful for. It does work. We all have down days. If you feel empty then its your inner self saying you need to make a change. Is it your relationship? Talk it out. Is it lack of relationship? Well we can be happy solo too. Is it your job, well look into change. Is it you arent working? well look for one. There is a way out of everything. Do some soul searching.

So much of what though? You can have so much love and still empty inside because you have no money, or you can have so much money and still empty inside because you have no love. Love and money is like your arms and your legs. Can't really compare the two. It's like asking "What would you choose to have, your arms or your legs?" :)

because even though they have everything they want they are still missing something mentally or they could feel guilty or strange getting whatever they want especially if they didn't get whatever they wanted before. I went with my friend to the mountains and she was really spoiled, and we got whatever we wanted, but I felt empty or like guilty for some reason... I thought getting whatever I wanted would be cool but it's not.... :(
Hope this helps!!

By so much do you mean material things? Life should not be about possessions. Its about whats inside. We all need to focus on what is really important in life and that ain't big TV's and nice cars

Because what they have are 'things' without substance.
We all need to make our own happiness, the first step of which is to realize that the only source for that happiness comes from within. Once we divest ourselves of worldly things, then happiness has room to grow.

because material possessions dont fill an emotional void. something is missing and nothing money can buy will fill it for long. most people who are seen to "have it all" career, marriage, children, nice house, car, holidays abroad etc, are notoriously unhappy. they try and fill thier lives with meaningless things to try and fill that unhappy hole instead of trying to figure out what it is they really need.
