Those who equate rudeness with honesty, (or justify their rudeness as being honest). It is not the same thing and you (not personally, but generally speaking) don't have to be rude in order to tell someone the truth.

More times than not, it isn't what it is said, but HOW it is said. I have no time for anyone who doesn't get this very basic concept. People's feelings ARE important.

They have forgotten how to be kind. I see, especially teenagers,,,practically knock over, senior citizens to get in a door in front of them. People getting impatient with other people, because they are always in a hurry, working to pay for things they don't need. Here are five ways to be kind...If you would like to read the other fifteen...I'm leaving a link...good stuff. I'm not Jewish but we do think alike. : )

1. Be resolved to become a kind person. How do you do this? Think, speak, and act with kindness.

2. Love kindness. When you do what you love, you are happy. A master of kindness is a master of joy.

3. When encountering someone, let your first thoughts be, What kind words can I say to this person and what kind things can I do?

4. Keep asking people, What can I do for you?

5. Everyone needs encouragement. Ask yourself, What can I say that will be encouraging?

I really just dislike mean people. The people who go around our world thinking that they are better than you because they are thinner or have more money. They are just materialistic and self centered. It bothers me because they don't make me feel bad but I know they makes other feel like total crap. They make me want to push themselves and their Prada purse into traffic.

i have to agree with fly up there. i have a sil like that. she assumes that her opinion is the most important and doesn't care how it comes across. it's not always what one says but how they say it.
