What do you mean by your "ubsessed"? Cats are stubborn, patterned creatures. Little ones love to play and bite everything. Very entertaining! Bigger cats don't play as much. If you have let them outside a few times, they will always want to go outside. The best thing about cats is you don't need to put them in a kennel when you travel (unless you will be gone a long time). Leave a big bowl of water and food and a litter box and they will take care of themselves. Also, they don't bark or slobber all over you.
However, where YOU are the master of a dog, a cat is YOUR master. A spray bottle with water or a small amount of vinegar in the water is a good training tool. They hate water and they hate the smell of vinegar on their bodies even worse.

Hey, Im a total animal lover. i have about 10 cats, so im sure i could help.
1. Kittens are very small and fragile, try not to be to rough with them while they are in kitten mode.
2. Kittens can be very playful, and can be "teething" so they might bite you unexpectidly.
3. Siamese cats start to get darker fur once they get older.
4. One of the few domestic cats that like water is the Turkish Van.
5. Some cats can be born with no tail- not because someone cut it off.
6. Cats can also get eating disorders.
7. With long haired cats (Persians, Norwegan Forest cats, ext.) must be brushed AT LEAST once a day.
8. There is such a thing as Show Cats.
9. The first cartoon that's character was a cat was a cartoon called Felix the Cat.
10. The most popular cartoon starring a cat was the well known Tom and Jerry.
Hope I helped out!

I have a cat that is in heat and I read cat digest and it says that you can cool a cat off if you simulate sex with a Q-tip. Now that sounds gross but I look really stupid with this Q-tip taped to the front of me and running around the house going here kitty kitty kitty. Also I had a cat that during christmas would swat at the ornaments on the tree. A friend told me that if I got the cat fixed it wouldn't do it as much. So I took the cat to the vet to get it done and when I brought the cat home I put him down in front of the christmas tree and he looked up at me as if to say "I hope he doesn't do this every christmas". Cats will also rub up on your leg like I love you and then they go to the leg of the coffee table and rub on it too going I love you too.

The simplest answer is to pick up the phone to a vet and find out - it's what they're there for. You also need prices for fleaing, worming, vaccination and neutering, and advice on diet.

Cats are cool. They're intelligent and independant. I personally find them easier to take care of then dogs or other kinds of animals.

you should check out any books on cats at the library or somethin..but make sure you brush it often so it doesn't get too many hairballs, give it a couple of baths each year, clean his litter, and treat em nicely
