1. Open IE7, go to Tools >> Internet Options.

2. Click on the General tab.

3. In General tab, you will see a Settings button in the Tabs section. Click the Settings button.

4. A new dialog box is opened. Here, you have to uncheck the Enable Tabbed Browsing checkbox. Click Ok to close the dialog box.

5. Again click Ok to close the Internet Options box.

6. Restart Internet Explorer.

Now you can use Internet Explorer 7 without any tabs.

hit alt to bring up the menu bar, then hit tools, and internet options. In the "General" tab, under the "Tabs" heading, hit "settings". From there the top checkbox in the menu is "Enable Tabbed Browsing". Uncheck that, hit okay. Then restart your browser.

Should be tab-less now.
