Do you believe that:
1: humans developed over millions of years under a process guided by God
2: God created humans alone within the last 10,000 years
3: evolution occurred with no help from God
"In a recent U.S. poll, 45 per cent said God created humans, and 40 per cent said evolution was God guided. Only 15 per cent said God played no part in creation."

There's a lot of evolutionists on the internet, I guess, especially in the religion section of Y!A since half the answers say 3.

None of the above. Er, all of the above. Well . . .
As a Christian, I thank God for the life around and within me and let the Bible mean whatever my heart is led to believe. I certainly don't expect to have the entire universe revealed to me in a flash. What a waste of curiosity THAT would be!
As a science fanatic, I think the most commonly held theories about the development of life on earth make very good sense and are quite plausible. If new information makes other theories more reasonable, or requires tweaking of current theories to include it, I'll evaluate that as it comes along. (That's how science works. That's NOT how religion works.)
Since neither set of understanding can be truly verified - in this life, anyway - I see no point in getting all het up about either. I sure as heck wouldn't stoop to the name calling and other hot-headed arguments I see here, which often makes both sides look like idiots. I guess those capable of respectful, intelligent debate do it elsewhere. (Unfortunately, even then, the creationists seem to come out rather on the "hot-headed" end of the scale.)

2: God created humans alone within the last 10,000 years
give or take a few thousand years.
I do believe in evolution though. There is to much proof to dispute it. It just says in the bible God created man from the dust and I am not one to dispute god on this since their is no conclusive proof otherwise. Clearly though we have bean evolving and will continue to evolve. Science has proven that as well. It has many records of changes of humans over the last thousand years. Even records of changes in humans over the last thousand years.

I could never believe that our amazing universe came about by accident! I mean, if you don't believe in God then it's obvious why you would believe in evolution. But if you DO believe in God, then why couldn't He have made the universe the way it is told in the Bible?

Polls of this type tell us what the percentage thinks, no one can prove or disprove. I think the better question would be "Why Do You Think This". That would tell if it were something taught to them over a period of years, or if they have had some type of Spiritual Experience. It would also tell why some believe in evolution with no help from God, and what they base this belief on.
I remain open-minded on the subject, but I do lean toward the spiritual side, this side has more questions than answerer's.

Personally, I think that God is a creation of man.... but that makes a lot of people angry. To avoid a theological debate, I generally say that god created the world over billions of years and who knows what God defines as seven days. To God, each day might be one billion years.....

I believe that evolution occurred perhaps guided by God - and if it wasn't guided by God, then I think there is a God-like energy that flows through all animals and elements that links us all in a cycle of creation and destruction.

#3, all the way.
anyone who answers #1 has an awful understanding of evolution. if you actually correctly understand what natural selection is, then you understand that THAT is what guides evolution. there's no room left over for god to guide anything.
