Jesus didn't make peace on Earth last time he was here. I don't see why next time would be any different.

I believe that their will never be peace on earth, at least total peace. Their may be places on earth where it may be totally peaceful (Zion) and the rest of Earth maybe in total mayhem.
Another reason I believe that their will never be peace on earth is because of God. He wants people to make their own choices. Without chaos (murder, war, breaking the 10 Commandments, etc) we would not be able to make a choice because we would not know what the other choices would be, if we never heard of them. Does anyone understancd what I am saying. If need be I will clarify later.

Well when Jesus comes again he will tell others to stop wars and make peace but maybe not completely peace at last and forever [i hope so though].
Oh one more thing when Jesus comes the world will end,so yes kind of.
Jesus rocks!

Actually, most of the Earth is very
peaceful, most of the time.
How much real chaos have you
witnessed in your lifetime, except
for that which the news media has
to dig for.
I'm a firm believer that Christ will
return. But not in the form of a spirit
floating downward from the heavens.
Most likely, it will be the teachings of
Jesus that shows up.
To understand is to forgive. And it
just might be the understanding that
sinks the religious rift we currently see
around us.

The Lord has said that in the last days there will be “wars and rumors of wars, and the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men’s hearts shall fail them.”
I like to think I am a person of peace. I follow the Savior, who is the Prince of Peace. I look forward to His millennial reign, when wars will end and peace will be restored to the earth (see Isaiah 2:4). However, I recognize that in this world, government leaders sometimes send military troops to war to defend their nations and ideals.
See link for list of current conflicts --- it certainly appears that the “wars and rumors of wars" prophecy is being fulfilled.

There will be no peace on earth until all religion is abolished. Believe in God, or Allah, or jehovah, if you so wish, but why does everyone believe their religion is the only right one. I am a basically good person, and I believe God will judge me accordingly. I do not have to sit in a church or Mosque, or Kingdom hall e.t.c. being brainwashed every week.God's will is for peace on earth, not killing each other in the name of Religion.

He said there will be wars and rumors of wars.
Nation shall rise against nation. But the end is not yet, because the hearts of men will turn wax cold.
Look at President Bush sending young men off to war for no reason. It does not get much colder than that.
And we have been getting exactly what he prophesied.

in all the years that men have existed here on earth, there has never been peace. the only time we will have peace is when Jesus comes and turns us all in to emotionless robots to worship him 24/7.

Jesus died, he isn't coming back
and if you recall the story, there hasn't been peace on Earth before, during, or since the life of Jesus...
doesn't that tell you something?

There wasn't exactly a lot of peace on earth the first time he was here. If he comes back, I don't know why it would be any different the second time...
