Tin foil hats in my day were worn to block out aliens! They wear them now to look....um....cute? Well, at least you can make 'em cheap. So is it all Christians and one atheist? You can just put a bag over his head...just kidding! Have fun!

No, we don't. We don't believe in Hershey's kisses. Science has proven they are simply hardened drops of chocolate. Wearing tin foil hats must be some strange Christian ritual.
(Somehow, I get the feeling people aren't going to see the attempted humor in this and take it faaaar too seriously. Let's see the thumbs-downs, folks.)

tin foil is rather difficult to find. I think they wear aluminum foil which is easily obtained in supermarkets.

Only at formal parties. If it's an informal birthday party, you should be OK with saran wrap, or even a paper towel.

We do whenever there is a radar detector in the house.
We can't always have them on because we don't want to alarm theists about the fact that aluminum foil is so much more common.

are you serious? since when did religious affiliation, or lack thereof, effect such things? it's not a tin foil cross or yarmulke...it's a birthday hat and should be just fine.

No, atheists may not wear a tin hat. We must wear a beanie with a propeller on top. You see, all of us athiests can fly.

No, sorry. Tinfoil hats are for blocking (being/entity) from reading your mind. Since god is the one who hears silent prayers, and your atheist friend doesn't believe in god, then you're good with regular party hats.
