I know the only reason why people flock to America is money and nothing more.

Everyone thinks they are entitiled to "American Dreams" Get Real. We are not responsible to take care of anyone but our Citizens. And that includes employment! Everyone wants to take Take take Take from the American people but no one is willing to make their own country better.

No your wrong, Not cause of money it's cause 1. They want a education, 2. for a better life cause their goverment is not right, 3. just to live in America. That's the reason why Money??? How can they get money by just coming they need to get a job first and get paid better than from what they got paid in their country. Americans get things wrong with forieners. There not bad people coming into america to destroy america. They are coming to live a better life then what they had. That's what i think of people coming to america for. â¥

From the outside looking in, America does look like a 'rich' country. What many don't realize is that it's actually just an expensive country. Yeah, you may make a lot more working in San Jose, California than in San Jose, Costa Rica - but everything you buy (and, especially, rent) will cost you more, too.

Unlike many Americans, studies have shown that immigrants believe in the idea of "The American Dream". So, yes, one reason for coming here may be money and it is definitely a driving factor for many, but what about the religious and racial persecution, unstable governments, poverty, and violent, unsafe living conditions that almost ALL immigrants are fleeing from?

People come here, because America's laws are very laxed. They come here to find work. They come here because they have been told that America is the greatest nation on earth. They come here in hope that they will find a pot Gold. They come here because we are a free nation. It is the land of opportunity where they can find liberty and justice for all.

i personally think america needs to close it's borders from illegals coming in before it's too late. they only come over here to take advantage of jobs but on the other hand i have been to mexico and i can see why no one would want to live there.

Sure, but money = better life. My recent ancestors came over here just prior to WWI, and why? For a better life. I don't have a problem w/ good people coming here legally. However, I don't like them coming here illegally and depressing wages and burdening our health care and welfare systems.

There is more to it than money. There are many places in the world where you can make even more money than the US. The natural beauty, freedom, standard of living are all pluses
