The only time I take my pagan symbols off ... is when I go to hospital for surgery! However, you don't have to have your medallian blatantly out there. Wear it and wear it with pride, but just keep it inside your shirt/blouse, etc. If it falls out for others to see, then that is a sign. Smile, touch it, and put it back inside your top.
The person who invited you is probably trying to "save" you or convert you. As a pagan, that is not a worry... be honored that they care enough about you to share their beliefs ... that opens the door for you to share yours! After all, every religion was originally based on some kind of "pagan" belief ... that is a base to start a conversation. Bless you and enjoy the experience!

If it's a different faith you shouldn't wear your Pagan Medallion.

No. You've received a nice invitation from someone, and it is not a nice thing to do anything that could embaras the person who invited you. I have a Wicca medalian that I often wear, but, I would not wear it if I had been invited to someone else's place of worship. It is just being polite to NOT wear it. I enjoy learning all I can about other faiths...............you may enjoy it as well.

If you can wear your medallion underneath your clothing, that is great. I suggest not showing it as a sign of respect for the folks whom you are going to visit.
I am a practicing Buddhist. I go to Christian churches at times. I would not take a statue of Buddha or one of my practice books with me. With any belief one carries the most important part in the heart and aren't we glad that we neither see others or other see ours.

unlike many others, i'd encourage you not to wear it... i mean you know what you belive in, and what you believe is right, so no need to wear it, bacause at the end of the day, u'll remain yourself if you truley belive. the reason why i say not to wear it is because since you're going to a temple of a different faith, then wearing your Pagan Medallion might offend others who might not believe in that particular faith...... but then again, its you desicion =)...good luck

i might think of so. till you're gods are truly choosy or something. you should purely save the altar usually pagan extremely of going all-out with specific statues and such. It purely relies upon on the form of pagan you're... if the two religions are particularly analogous then it is going to likely be person-friendly. although i will't think of a Dianic and a Heathen sharing an altar lol...

Yes, I wear mine to diffrent places that it might not be fully aceptable. So what if you get some funny looks, its not like you don't already get some already. I own a silver one that is reversable, one side looks like a few oak leaves forming a circle and the other is the pentacle. I also have a silver ring with the pentacle too.
Once I wore it to a catholic mass and also had a few of my stones in my pocket. So just go with your friend or who ever invited you and wear it or have it on you. Its part of who you are.

I wear a medicine bag,it contains herbs, and healing stones.I have been to a couple of churches and no one has taken offense to it,my bag is not very large or loud.As long as u show respect for the people of this other religion,I don't see any harm, just don't flaunt the Medallion. It might also be a good idea to talk to your friend as well .get his/her opinion, and make your judgment on that as well

If you wear it all the time, then why not? If you are doing it to make a statement, don't bother. Your statement would be lost on or ignored by those around you.
And how would you feel if someone showed up wearing a symbol of their faith to your religious ceremonies?

Personally if I could wear it without drawing attention to it I would.
It is unreasonable for anyone talking offence if you were invited. Oh I'm betting they will but they are being unreasonable.
