Hi,

I know this isn't the best answer for immediate job/cash gain but what about ebay?

I started ebaying a couple of years ago and now have a full time company to run! Small, not too profitable and complex - But I'm doing it as a self employed adult filling in tax returns and selling as many products as possible.

For a good while, you won't need to worry about the taxman - especially if you start selling things you already own.

My first bit of ebaying was selling a VW Beetle project I just had to get rid of. If you can find a bunch of items you already own, you could sell those - or some things someone else in your family owns?

I gross about 20% on my listings after costs. You could sell other peoples unwanted stuff at a profit share of %30 or so (After fees - there are web-based fees calculators out there). You can justify this by making sure they realise how long it takes to actually write a decent listing and get it on ebay. You'll learn over time and might end up with your own profitable business by the time you are 17 or 18!

I'm not joking - it's something to consider - and you can sell on ebay AND have a wee job in the mean time. Also - ebay don't even charge you for selling fees until you owe them £15 (Last time I checked) so you can be sure you make a bit of cash before outlaying ANY money!

Sorry, I don't know anything about employment law, just that being your own boss is better! And if anyone says "Ooh, I don't know about that" or "No!" then ignore tham and prove them wrong!

That's my input, hope you like it :)

Tom

You can get a part-time job at just about any fast-food restaurant. Also, if you want something a little more than that, you can have your parents take you down to the Department of Employment in your jurisdiction area and get you a work permit. Then you can work anywhere you want, as long as you don't exceed a certain amount of hours per week.

McDonalds sadly is one of only a few places that will hire 15 year olds. You could try babysitting, or doing chores for neighbors in exchange for money. I had a friend that would hang peoples Christmas lights for money during the holidays. Washing cars for people? Just be creative.

try seeing if somebody on your community desires there canines walked, or if a chum of your mothers and fathers has a baby that desires like after college babysitting. I remember one summer time i replaced into i think of 13 or 14 I babysat my around the corner neighbor for approximately 6 hours an afternoon and as much as i did no longer like giving up my summer time days, I made approximately a hundred each week. Which on the time replaced into alot. yet thats alot greater then could be predicted in babysitting, yet once you discover somebody form you may make a superb bite of replace. I dont blame you for no longer desirous to artwork speedy nutrition! i could in no way opt to the two. maximum i've got common to artwork at like mcdonalds completly hated it and the place taken care of like crap. yet they'll hire you at 15 in the experience that your desprate haha.

pretty sure you can work at either 15 or 16 with permission from your school counselor and your parents your school should have the paper you need to get signed and present to your employer. fast food is easy to find a job at, as well as other restaraunts. babysitting if you can which is easier if you have problems with transportation because sometimes the parents can pick you up or drop you off. and they can tell you a couple days ahead of time when they need you to work so you can plan it out with your parents to drop you off and stuff. you do not need that paper from your school for babysitting. just for working at a company.

You first have to get a working permit and they ask you to get medical papers to state that your healthy enough to work. And after that you'll probably find a job at a grocery store.
