Mayan Prophecy 12/21/2012.
Many people believed it over the centuries and as it approaches, it gets more recognition.
There are interesting things about it. You can see free documentaries on the net, history channel, national geographic or even on my myspace page.

The Mayan calendar is the only 100% accurate calendar in the history of the world.
Everything they wrote about the future came true. The last thing is 2012 when the Earth is reborn.
Funny thing is, the Vatican has an Astronomical observatory that only points to the southern Antarctic.
Another interesting thing is that there is a comet that is far out now, but will cross the path of Earth in a near collision on the same exact day the Mayan prophecy predicts the world will end.
Could it be possibly, that the scientists miscalculated the path of the comet or just maybe, the comet will be deflected to hit the Earth?
That is what i believe to be the fire from the sky. Not nukes, but a comet and that is what I believe 2012 will be. The world will start over as it has for many civilization prior and will do so until the sun turns into a supernova in the estimated mid 30th century.
Remember, no civilization has lasted forever!
In the realm of the physical, nothing, ever does.
Thought is reality, physical is the illusion.

It is true the bible says we can not know the hour or the minute . But then it also says that we ARE to know the season. It will be 70 yrs after the restoration of Israel. That happened in 1948. But we don't know if the allowed time for Satan to be on earth was already factored into the 70 yrs or not. Ergo we can only know the season. That season is between 2011and 2018 give or take a year or two for calendar inaccuracies. I have to believe that 2012 is as good an estimate as any. Probably pretty accurate.

2012 is actually the end of the Mayan calendar. Since the calendar's been accurate all this time, coming to the end of it is freaking people out.
Supposedly there's a big comet or asteroid of something that will threaten to impact Earth. If it hits, New Ice Age. However, I've also heard that in 1012 the Mayan calendar may just start over, or cycle through again - so I need to do a bit of research.
But that's where the rumor is based.

If I was a gambler,,,I would go around taking bets from all those foolish people who believe this...these Mayan people were so messed up with different worlds, I think it was five worlds they believed in,,,and different gods...many of them...how could anyone with a sane mind think this calendar had anything to do with the end of time or any big event...but like PT Barnum once said.."There's a sucker born every minute"....
Jesus will come back when he is ready. And it will be in his own time, not decided by some silly, superstitious culture. .

The Bible says that not even the angels in Heaven know the hour. If you are referring to the Mayan Indians Calendar that runs out in dec 2012 which is very weird I will have to say but I agree with you, Only God knows and since he wants us to live by faith then hes not going to say the day its going to happen, however he did leave us some hints, As in the days of Noah so shall the coming of the son of man be or When the Gospel is preached throughout the whole world for a testimony then the end shall come. Obviously with the technology today the Gospel is going thru out the whole world so we are getting close I believe, I personally don't think we will even be here in 2012, I think the rapture will happen before then. Great Question with everthing going on in the world today I only hope Iran don't cut loose a nuke on us soon. If he does my salvation is secure as i have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. If he blows us all up I am going to heaven guaranteed. I hope you have been saved. If not the simple pray will make you right with Jesus if you believe in him, Dear Jesus I just pray right now that you forgive me of all my sins and come into my heart and save me. I believe that you came to earth and died on a cross, and then rose from the grave the third day to be a perfect sacrifice for my sins. I willingly give my life to you and promise to serve you with all my heart. Please make me one of your children in the name of Jesus I pray Amen... If you Prayed this Prayer with a sincere heart truly believing in Jesus you are now a child of the King. Praise the Lord, If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email, May God Bless You

You are right. Yet what are your thoughts on the "Mark" of the beast or Antichrist being a microchip Implant that is injected underneath the skin of the right hand which allows anyone to buy or sell and will be monitored by satellite. This Implant is already approved by the FDA and proven safe for humans. It can hold the information of personal records and identity of everyone who receives it but being the Mark of Satan, means that whoever willingly or ignorant receives it shall not have the rights to enter the Kingdom of God according to Revelation 13 chapter.Go to trumpetmin.org and click-Could this be the mark? Your thoughts on this please..

Why do people get their mythologies so mixed up? That's the Mayan myth of the apocalypse (2012). Why would it have anything to do with the Christian myth of the apocalypse which is entirely different. This just an example of mingling cultures, I think which is usually a good thing for the most part, but apocalypse myths are never good in my opinion. They promote illogical fear and paranoia.

That's right, God alone knows. There have been hundreds of predictions, all wrong of course. This is just one more. The way I figure it, as soon as someone says they are sure of the time, we can be sure of one thing - it won't happen then!

That prediction is based on the calculations of the Myans, who IRONICALLY do not exist anymore.
