Food can be linked to cancer. But it’s not food by itself- a person could increase chances of cancer by consuming fatty foods, (especially trans-fat foods), and foods with artificial additives and preservatives. A person who is obese has a higher risk of cancer. I don’t believe that food in its natural state can cause cancer. It’s the altered foods and the high consumption of those and the high consumption of fatty foods that can lead to cancer. Also, blackening and charring foods creates carcinogens that have been linked to cancer.

Parasites are a problem - some beasties like flatworm can mutate - the immune response is invasive to the point where the infected area may start abnormal growth activity in the cells to the extent a tumor may result - benign or otherwise - prevention is better than cure - a holistic approach to health is relevant - what foods and drinks you put in your mouth - first consideration - are your hands clean - i nearly always now wear latex gloves when handling raw food - use a different cutting board for raw vegetables - never place raw meat with cooked meat say in the fridge - when buying raw meat - make sure your supplier understands - about possibility of contamination when handling raw produce - yes hygiene - handling of food - is the zone - wear gloves people - in the restaurant kitchen - hygiene matters right ? who wants to be infected with parasites - no way dudes.

I think that some of the things we eat can help "prevent" cancer but i dont really believe that the foods we are eating cause cancer. Then again, we dont know what is being put into the foods, i guess there is always a chance.

NATURAL food has nothing to do with cancer. Stuff organic I believe don't carry cancer. I mean look at the Native American's 100's of years ago! They weren't dying like this. They had a much more natural life. However foods that aren't natural you should have more caution about them. It doesn't necessarlily mean they have cancer in them, it's just they aren't as good as natural. So I believe no not really.

Certain foods are believed to cause cancer in animals (chocolate in dogs, for example), therefore the same principle has been applied to humans.

Food HAS very little to do with cancer... (It was probably me)
I will point to the many things that we know do
smoking, drugs, pot, and hundreds of chemicals etc
Most cancers find genetically defective people prone to succumb to the virus..
check the family histories

I think any substance, save perhaps water and rice, can be a carcinogen if used improperly and in great quantities. Perhaps that's too wide a blanket to place on any substance, but then, we haven't finished our research, have we?
