Vista business is a fine version for business applications. It does not have the multimedia experiance of Home Premium of Ulitimate. It does have some small multimedia options for giving presentations, but thats it. It does not have the Media player, or the Media Center, or the Photo Gallery. It is a business OS for office use.

x64 is the newer platform for OSs, and it has a lot more power and options that the x86 versions. However, while I am sure every computer will one day be running on the x64 platform, right now there are not a lot of hardware or software which is compatible for running on it. Slowly, more items are available, but slowly. Many people like using the x64 platform for games for the power, and there are many medical, developement and other reasons people choose to use it now, even though the hardware and software support is limited.

If you are interested in multimedia, I would reccomend Vista Ultimate. You can use the upgrade option to install a full version of Vista, you simply install the upgrade and then use it to do a full install. There are instructions on the web on how to do this, in fact here it is:

You can use this method for any of the Vista versions and it IS legal. This loophole was left there on purpose. I have not yet used it, but know those who have and it works as shown on this website.

Whatever you decide to do, Vista needs more resources than earlier versions, use the Upgrade Advisor to be sure you are ready for the upgraded version if that is the way you decide to go. It is available for free here:

Good luck and have a nice day.

besides the fact which you do, do not downgrade Vista to abode hardship-unfastened! Vista abode hardship-unfastened is shiznit! the two save Vista employer, downgrade to abode top rate, or improve to ideal which has each thing you opt for for. the final element out of all is to enhance to abode windows 7 whilst it comes out in August.
