I have two male cats that are neutered indoor cats but my roomy took them outside for a little over an hour and now they are coughing, vommiting and have lost their voices. No fever or anything but they are very lathargic. Any ideas what is wrong? I should also mention that I just moved in with my roomy about two weeks ago.

did the roomy see them get into anything like a puddle or chew on a plant. i don't want to sound too scary, but they could be poisoned. you might want to get them to the vet.

Cats can have bad reactions to many things . Get them to the vet and talk gently with your roomy about house rules.

A number of possibilities, don't bother listening to the guesses on here, just take them to a vet. Doesn't sound to good.

Take them to the vet pronto. Something is wrong with them and I don't want to point fingers but people have done worse to cats.

Call your vet's office and see what they recommend. This could become something very dangerous.

Good luck. :)
