My girlfriend and i do some things which are not quite the norm and it's fun to experiment, BUT........last weekend she suggested i let her put a diaper/nappie on me and that she watched while i USED it!!!! This makes me feel awfully uncomfortable and i don't want to do it but i don't want to lose her and like to please her and make her happy?

So you're saying that your relationship is THAT unstable that you'd break up just because you were unwilling to perform ONE sex act? :/ Sounds to me like you shouldn't be together if that's the case.

Pleasing your lover is important but you have to draw the line somewhere. If you absolutely cannot see yourself doing this without being entirely disgusted you need to tell her...the feelings you will experience afterwards will be awkward, uncomfortable and could perhaps hurt the relationship. Maybe you could suggest an alternative act that will sort of trump the diaper thing, while also saying you just feel that would make you too uncomfortable afterwards?

tell her that was a one time deal and start drawing the line somewhere cause she could really get out there on ya. ask her why wasnt SHE the one in the diaper? Although most of us may think it is gross (and it is) some people have different fetishes and sexual fantasies. Obviously this is one of hers and not one of yours. I think it is very important to set certain limits and boundaries and not do things that make you uncomfortable especially sexually related. I think it would be fine to tell her that isn't your cup of tea and go on to something different.
