Your stress arises as you resist life. Surrender your resistance to life and there is no stress.
Start accepting your life just as it is. You can still change whatever you want.... but you're no longer resisting what is.

Stress is a necessary part of our existence; it fuels the "fight or flight" reflex that has preserved the human race for millennia. You won't get rid of it so don't even try. Take stock in those stressors that you have some control over and exercise that control. For those few that you have NO control over you will have to accept the stress. The secret is not to carry it with you. I find exercise is a formidable stress reliever. I find that 20 to 30 minutes of (don't laugh) ping pong helps me a lot. Now I am talking about the game when it is played at near championship levels. Find something you can do along those lines and do it daily. People say running helps them but it never did me any good.
Additional management techniques include breathing exercises, bio feedback, yoga, tai chi, meditating or just screaming into your pillow. Do your best to maintain your health, flu shots, and reasonable amounts of sleep and of course good nutrition.

Give your stresses and anxieties to God to handle. Then go exercise.
