I dont really date that much and I dated a very old friend for a couple months and things were great. He just all of sudden just stopped calling me and I took the hint. It has been a couple months now and he called me for the first time since that Saturday night and left some drunk message crying and apologizing telling me he knew was wrong. I sent him a text the next day just saying I got your message, your sounded druk but its cool and to call me sometime. I havent heard from him???? Why do I care?

yes while it could be that you care because you don't have someone to replace him, or that he just missed you but what if it's more you will never know sometimes real emotions can come out when you don't mean them to perhaps he does really like you more than he cares to admitt, and getting drunk helped him face those fears in telling you why not try calling him back again and finding out for sure what the call meant if you don't do this you will end up regreting it maybe he needs to hear from you that you are really in to him take that leap of faith trust me--good luck in all you do and you care because you seem to like him more than you care to own up to as well

you care because you still havent let go. you still have feeling for him. you need to move on as much as its hard. you may say you do but you havent. trust me i know and i took me a long time.the reason is too that things probably just ended on weird turns right!there wasnt no offical break up. well; hope thats help you out and good luck.

You care because you don't have another guy to replace him. He called because something happened to make him miss you, but it is probably not permanent, so he will move on again. I wish you good luck in finding romance! But this is not the guy.

Blow it off, he was just taking a drunken walk down memory lane. If he ever calls again don't respond. Or at least don't let him see that you care. Your the one that will be hurt here.
