the teacher even SHOUTED at them after wards.

Around here, they call pretty girls stallions which is the same thing as a "dime piece". If could be that they were referring to you as that by making a whipping noise. Other than that, I don't know what that could have meant.

My guess is that they think your cute-boys are so clueless sometimes! I have been out of school for a while, but I bet someone in the teen section would know for sure.
Whatever they mean, just ignore them- even if its a "complement" -they are out of line, as are most fellas till they are in their early 20's- have fun at school!!
