My friend and I are making a board for a Japanese exchange student to welcome her to our class. We already have the words "Welcome Saki" on the board and can't figure out anything else. We know basic Japanese, and have the internet and a printer at our fingers. Any suggestions you can give would be helpful.

just try to make them feel welcome, and like one of the gang. exchange students love to experience the same foods you guys eat, go the same places you guys go, in others words they want to know what its like to be an American. be willing to listen also to what they have to say, don't make fun of them in any way, in their country education is very important and they tend to put this first and foremost in their lives. fun & games are way down the list .
I have a feeling you will learn alot from them, just as they will learn from you.
