Natural instincts are not sins. The misuse of those instincts in ways that harm others, your slef, and your relationship with God would be a sin. Eating is not a sin. Misusing your appetite, for example, so that you become obese and cause yourself to die young would be wrong. Sex is not sin. In fact, the Bible says it is wrong for married couples to withhold sex from each other. But the misuse of sex, such as by molesting children, is a sin.
That is why when you read the Bible it gives rules for what is and is not the proper usage of those natural instincts.

That depends...if your natural instinct is to indulge in sexual immorality,,then it is....sex with your husband or wife would not be a sin.....
If you drink water....no....if you drink alcohol and water,,,,yes, that's a sin...
All natural instincts can be turned into sin, with the exception of bodily functions like breathing, going to the bathroom, sneezing.....etc...
Running from danger is not a sin....running from your girlfriends house when her husband comes home, unexpectedly,,,sin
Eating a bon bon...not a sin....eating the whole box,,,,sin

Instead of labeling one action as a sin and another action as a virtue, instead of arguing on the subject of the right and wrong of certain actions, consider the idea of how a musician trains his or her ear, to see what is harmonious and what lacks harmony in oneself and in one's dealings with others.
What is called good or bad, right or wrong, sin or virtue, the secrete behind all this diversity is one, and this secret is that all that leads to happiness is right, is good, and is virtuous; all that leads to unhappiness is wrong, that is evil, and if there is any sin, it is that which may be called sin.
[Instinct] becomes a virtue or a sin according to the use we make of it.
Sin and virtue, right and wrong, good and bad are not the same in the case of every individual; they are according to his grade of evolution and state of life.
The whole world is the manifestation of God, and we may see God in all.

Everything is a sin if it is done outside of it's purpose. For example.... sex within marriage for the purpose of procreating is good... sex (even within marriage) for pure pleasure is considered a sin by many.
But they just make it up as they go along really...... to suit their own purposes.... I mean, they say murder is a sin... but they stand behind a person who is responsible for many murders.... so the concept of sin i suppose is in the eyes of the beholder.

Nope. Not at all.
I like to eat, and that is not wrong. But when eating becomes all important and I over-eat, or live to eat, then it is wrong.
I enjoy having money, and that is not wrong, but when money becomes your obsession and you become greedy, stingy, and a thief, then that is wrong.
Sex is not (in and of itself) wrong - (I mean within the confines of the sanctity of marriage, of course), but when you live for sex, or when you commit rape or go to prostitutes, and you have no control over your own drives, then it is wrong.
I could continue, using examples from other "natural instincts", but I trust that I have given enough examples to illustrate the point that natural instincts are not in and of themselves sinful.

Hell, no. If a person decides to listen to some Church system or Priest instead of listening to God, then thats the persons own fault if they don't have a fulfilling life - sexually and otherwise. Non of the garbage you hear comes from God, it comes from unlearned people who call themselves "Leaders of Christianity" when they couldn't even properly lead someone to the toilet, quite frankly.
For example, God does not give you sexual satisfaction just so you can not be sexually satisfied. That wouldn't make a whole lot of sense, would it? If you hear something that does not make sense, or if its something that sounds confusing, its not from God.
Either you misunderstand, or else someone is telling you lies.

anything that comes between you and the guidance of the holy spirit is a sin.were all animals .we all have 98% chimp dna in us...but we can accept the spirit of God within us to help guide and direct those instincts.thoughts. actions.
a sin is simply anything that comes between you and the spirit of Gods guidance .if you hate someone, then that hate comes between you and Gods spirits connection to you. and cuts it off. if you steal, then you know its wrong and that comes between you and the spirits guidance and connection. if you allow the things of the world to stand between you and Gods spirit then your lost, you must be of the spirit .be connected to it. to be lead to heaven by that spirit one fine day.be in the world but not of it.be separate from the things of the world.the spirit of God should be most important in our life's, not religion .not anything .the spirit is the most important thing there is and ever will be for our advancement spiritually,.the Prince of the power of the air will tell you differently of course.
