ok so i kind of cheated i guess ... i had phone sex with another guy!
My bf forgave me because I told him.
He thinks there is more to it though and has a hard time getting over it. So he wants me to take a lie detector test.
We really love eachother and want to work it out and spend our lives together. Why cant he believe me and we just move on?
Yes, I lied and it took a while to come clean with it!
How do i get out of it, Im nervous and he shouldnt have to do that!? Is it right?

No offense, but you are the one who cheated. You should be glad that he's willing to try and work things out vs leaving you for good... Most people wouldn't give a cheater a second chance! You've got a second chance... Do you really want to blow it because he's having a hard time getting over the fact that you cheated? If he'll feel better once you take a lie detector test, don't you think it's worth it?? The reason why he can't just take your word for things is because his trust in you is broken... he's probably questioning everything you've ever said and/or done. And it's gonna take time and a lot of work for that trust to be restored... You're just gonna have to deal with that if you want to make things work.

Well.. his trust in you is soooo low that the only way he can be satisfied is if you take a lie detector test.
sounds to me like this realtionship is over. done. kaput.
I'd just leave now. no one needs to be degraded the way you are being degraded and no one needs to feel like they can't trust their lover like he does.

you lied and cheated your lucky he's still with you! Just break up now and get it over with, once the trust is gone (which it obviously is) You might as well call it over. Sorry to be so up front but it's just how I see it. Besides if you really loved him you wouldnt have cheated.

dump his *** hun. you dont want a guy with that bad of a trust problem. for a relationship to succeed it takes trust and respect. he obviously doesn't trust you and he sure as hell doesn't respect you if he wants you to take a lie detector test. you deserve better than that.

if you told him the truth than take the lie detector test.... unless your hding something... if you decline to take the test he is most likely going to trust you even less he will think there is more to the story....

If shoes were on the other foot would you believe him, probably not. if you're not lying and have never cheated on him then you have nothing to worry about.
