mix some soy or teriyaki sauce, ginger, garlic, lime or lemon juice, salt & pepper, then marinate the tuna for a while (1hr) on both sides then, get the grill ready and nicely hot then take tuna and pad it dry well, add some cooking spray and put it on the grill, then spray side that is up and cook the tuna for a couple min. each side 3 / 4 min.

I just had tuna for dinner.I fried mine in a little olive oil, seasoned with salt and freshly milled pepper, squeezed lime juice over. Then served it on a bed of tomato and herb cous cous and salad.I then melted a little butter in the microwave, added more lime juice to that and fresh coriander leaf and poured it over the tuna before serving. It was lovely.

i made a marinade for scallops once that would be good with tuna.
it was 1 part coconut milk (unsweetened)
1/2 part soy sauce
crushed garlic glove
crushed fresh ginger...nice knob, thumb sized.
red chili flake.
that's about it, you can add or omit a flavour you dont' care for, the soy and the coconut are the important ones.
but i only let it marinade for 10 minutes. didn't want it to overpower anything...and soy is a strong flavour.

then just sear all around, toasted sesame seeds are always good.
ooh cold peanut noodles would be good too...
foodtv.com has recipes for peanut noodles.

try to marinate it in 1 of lawyrs marinades... tequila and lime, lemon pepper, garlic and lime
for about an hour at least.
grill on low/med coals.
remember cooking tuna is like steak... doneness to your liking you don't have to cook it 100% thru.
i like mine a lil pink in the center.

rice pilaf or wild rice goes well as a side.
