Why do Anti-Mormons find it fun to attack a man that has been dead for 163 years? I don't understand the logic!

In the same matt j, if he is proven to be a prophet it means that all other christian churches are wrong.

Because they have nothing better to do.

If Joseph Smith was a liar and a fraud, then how could the church be true? I mean really- think about that for a moment. By taking down Joseph Smith, then they can take down the entire foundation of the church.

I just ignore a lot of what is said about him. I know the truth. I know what kind of man he really was. He was a decent hardworking, honest man. He was a prophet of God.

Satan to the second coming will fight off Joseph Smith, even though he's dead. Because Smith built the church, if they can convince a member he was a maniac or something, then there goes their beliefs in the Mormon church, meaning they will dump it and find a better one. That's exactly what satan wants. Anti mormons, please give me a thumbs down! Mormons know what I'm talking about! But all that matters is that we believe it and try to let the world know!

Because people, by nature are ignorant to what they don't understand. But it does make me chuckle when people like "Matt J" say the religion collapses with Joseph Smith Jr. HELLO...the LDS church is the fastest growing Christian Church in the world. The murderers at Carthage jail thought the church would fail after Joseph and his brother were killed. WRONG!! Just grew faster and stronger! :)

Because to them, what he taught and believed in goes partly against what they believe in. It isn't the same, and therefore false. Not only that, but they have been "told" by people what "he really was about" without even bothering to really check into things. They accept what others say as fact and don't feel it necessary to make sure their facts are right.

It doesn't just happen with Joseph Smith, but with anything that isn't totally inside their beliefs. I believe we all have a right to believe as we will, and that no one should bash anyone else for that belief. So what if it's different, or not understood by them? That doesn't make it wrong, evil or a cult!

That's because they are not logical people. If they were, they would see exactly how logical it is that there would be more scripture out there besides the Bible. Don't try to understand them. You'll get a migraine. At least, I do every time I attempt to understand.

There is no logic in it. Persecution such as what you see leveled at the Prophet Joseph stems mainly from ignorance and hate.

If they spent some time examining the "fruits" of that Man, they might reconsider.

Anti-Mormons say lots of nasty things. People that know nothing about the church say nasty things. I don't understand it either. I asked a question yesterday about people being nasty and got LOTS of nasty remarks.
