i have a bmx mountain bike and its dazzling !

For me it's a mountain bike. I like getting off the beaten path, exploring, and crawling in granny gear.
I have a roadie too (which are so much nicer riding on the street) but I also take it off road so I put heavier tires and tubes on it.
BMX sounds fun...I'm sure they jump much better than a mtn bike (or roadie....haha). As for being an only bike, it's pretty limiting though. It'd make it hard to go long distances or do big climbs. You could always pick up some trials techniques and head for the rocks though.

bmx doesn't have shifters or derailers and that makes them more simple and easier to maintain than mountain bikes. there are less parts to break and the bmx bike is lighter than the average mountain bike. get the bmx.

I race bmx, mountain and cross and enjoy it all but if I had to choose I would mountain. There are so many different aspects to mountain that makes it enjoyable. Long rides, fast descents, gruelling climbs, it's all good

I own a BMX bike. So that owuld be my choice. Plus the scene is just amazing.

it is really option, but i prefer mountain bikes. i think it is more fun and exciting. going in the woods and speeding down trails that might have big obstacles, or might not. It is the thrill that i like. some people like road racing because they like to go faster and longer.

One of each, life is too short to compromise and only have one do all bike that doesn't do anything particularly well.
Live on the edge or you are taking up too much room.

BMX
You can do tricks, its not to big, its not to small, you can go fast without changing gears, so its completly manual, all saftey features are extra enhanced due to the tricks ppl do and attempt. I have one and it help me with alot of tricks and street speeds. The others are for only one thing.
