Why so many Bible versions, but only one Qur'an?

in the same language we find many versions of holy Bibles differ from each other, but holy Qur'an is only one in Arabic, and has no version in any other languge, but only translation to the meanings according to translator understanding, without any holyness, So Holy Qur'an is one, and Holy Bible is so many

God wants his word to be readable, translatable, in all languages in the earth. The Bible is the most printed book in history, the most read.....The Koran isn't from God since the Koran says that the sun sets in a puddle of muddy water, and that man can have sex with six year olds and so on, but let's not go there. Introduction to basic facts of history:

Moon worship has been practiced in Arabia since 2000 BC. The crescent moon is the most common symbol of this pagan moon worship as far back as 2000 BC.
In Mecca, there was a god named Hubal who was Lord of the Kabah.
This Hubal was a moon god.
One Muslim apologist confessed that the idol of moon god Hubal was placed upon the roof of the Kaba about 400 years before Muhammad. This may in fact be the origin of why the crescent moon is on top of every minaret at the Kaba today and the central symbol of Islam atop of every mosque throughout the world:
About four hundred years before the birth of Muhammad one Amr bin Lahyo ... a descendant of Qahtan and king of Hijaz, had put an idol called Hubal on the roof of the Kaba. The moon god was also referred to as "al-ilah". This is not a proper name of a single specific god, but a generic reference meaning "the god". Each local pagan Arab tribe would refer to their own local tribal pagan god as "al-ilah".
"al-ilah" was later shortened to Allah before Muhammad began promoting his new religion in 610 AD.
There is evidence that Hubal was referred to as "Allah".
When Muhammad came along, he dropped all references to the name "Hubal" but retained the generic "Allah".
Muhammad retained almost all the pagan rituals of the Arabs at the Kaba and redefined them in monotheistic terms.
Regardless of the specifics of the facts, it is clear that Islam is derived from paganism that once worshiped a moon-god.
Although Islam is today a monotheist religion, its roots are in paganism.

As you say, the Qur'an is only in Arabic. There's no such thing as an official translation of the Qur'an because they regard Arabic as a holy language. You can find copies with the entire text in both Arabic and English if you desire, but not one solely in English.

The reason for the many Biblical translations is the complications with translating ancient languages into modern ones. Some words don't translate well. In the case of the King James Bible, many claim that King James inserted his own biases into the English translation.

The NIV Bible and the Catholic New American Bible seem to be the most studied and accurate to the old texts. In writing the New American Bible, Catholics worked with Protestant biblical scholars to make it as accurate as possible.

A few of the reasons that there are so many translations (not versions) of the Bible are:
+ The English language is very complicated. It changes all the time. English is different in different countries. English can be different in different neighborhoods.
+ Biblical scholarship improves every day.
+ Archeology learns more and more about biblical times every year.
+ Distrust. Protestants cannot trust a Catholic translation and Catholics cannot trust a Protestant one. One Protestant denomination cannot trust a translation from a different denomination.

The original language documents have not really changed. The Dead Sea Scrolls helped prove this. The scrolls are important because they testify to the accuracy of the people who copied and recopied the Scriptures over the centuries. Despite minor errors, they show us that the Old Testament has not changed since it was compiled.

Muslims believe that the Koran exists in heaven (perhaps uncreated, but that is debated by Muslim theologians) as an exemplary copy in Arabic. The Koran dictated to Mohammed is an exact copy of this heavenly creature.

Christians do not believe that the Bible is a copy of a pre-existing book, but that it is the story of God's ongoing revelation of HImself to His people, and so it is written in the community reflecting on its experience, and guided by the Holy Spirit. The Bible carries all the strengths and flaws of a human community.
