Unless someone signs up to recieve the emails from your site then you sending them emails is considered spam.

Like the previous people mentioned any unsolicited email is spam. To avoid it spamming you'll want to be legit. Offer people something free, for instance a free newsletter, free giveaway etc for signing up to your email list then a few times a month send them emails with your info and offers on it. Anyone who request the product info can receive replies that will not go in the spam bucket .

Any unsolicited 'info' IS SPAM , and BTW ,
I would love to strangle the morons who keep sending me 'viagra' and 'gift card' product info to me .
