And have been having a horrible headache for the past two days. Its more like pressure at my temples and the top of my head near my forehead. Is this normal? What could be causing it? I've taken Tylenol twice in the past two days, it takes the edge off, but doesn't make it go away entirely. I have yet to call my Dr, but that's next on my list. Also, I saw my Dr a week ago, she said my blood pressure was a little low and I had a urinary tract infection, she put me on Macrobid to clear it up. Would either of those things have anything to with the headache??

Thank you all for your answers so fast! I called my Dr, she said to take Extra Strength Tylenol every 4 hours round the clock if I have to til it subsides. She also said that the Macrobid may cause a headache, but I'm almost done with the prescription, so she's not going to change it. The nurse I spoke with also recommended a prenatal chiropracter? I've never been to any chiropracter, any advice there?

I know antibiotics can cause headaches sometimes, I am not sure what Macrobid is, if it is an antibiotic check the print out they gave you or call the pharmacy and see if it is a side effect. I know high blood pressure can cause headaches but I am not sure about low. You need to call and ask your doctor. I suffered from headaches a lot in my first pregnancy and honestly the thing that helped me the most was sleep. Try to take a nap if possible and see if it helps.

I went to a chiropractor throughout my whole 2nd pregnancy and it was wonderful. My delivery was so much easier the second time around, which normally it is, but he said if your hips and spine are in line your baby can come out easier, which makes sense. And I had a lot less headaches with that pregnancy too.
But be careful find a chiropractor word of mouth, I have gone to them for years and a lot of them just keep you coming back week after week even if not needed. The best way to find a good Dr., babysitter or anything is by word of mouth.

When I was pregnant with my son I had horrible headaches, my doctor said it most likely was the hormones. It was earlier in my pregnancy though. I saw a chiropractor from 6 to 12 weeks, and it got rid of my headaches. Maybe you could try seeing a prenatal chiropractor??
