Conversions are very easy, if you can cross multiply. However you must convert everything into the same unit system first. I.E. English are Metric Units. I like metric units they're simpler.

10 lb Cat > 2.205lb = 1 kg

10 lb * 1 kg / 2.205 lb = (10/2.205)kg or 4.535 kg because the lbs cancel.

3.5 * 6 mg (of drug) = 21 mg (of drug)

Now take mass of drug divided by mass of cat

21 mg (of drug) / 4.535 kg (of cat) = 4.63 mg (of drug) / kg (of cat)

A unit divided by itself equals 1 to knock out the unit. Just cancel units and you can solve all these problems easily.
