Creatine is produced in the body. You can consume about 1gm/day from fish and beef. There is convincing evidence that creatine supplements enhances recovery.Similar to carb loading. Short term side effects weight gain due to water retention. If your muscles are already saturated with creatine you will excrete and waste your money plus get the cramps. Watch your urine for high yellow contents. reduce the amount your taking to one tablet. Although it will say take 3 before and after. Its doesnt take into account age/weight/height and what sort of training you do. That said they can say what they want on the packageing so long has it states not tested by the FDA.They can put flour in it. Anything with calories in is considered a energy food. Its a rip off worth nearly 14 billions a year in the States alone. Cramps can be over use drop down to one on the supplement. It will have creatine in it has well. 240 reaps at any weight is a lot up the weight drop the reaps

From looking at your workout plan, it seems that creatine is not the right supplement for you. Creatine is not useful for longer distance runners or individuals who are lifting the way that you do. It is more of a power supplement for bodybuilders, sprinters, weightlifters (Olympic), powerlifters, and more sports that involve more size, strength, and power. At 60 reps, you are not gaining muscular hypertrophy but working muscular endurance. The bloated feeling you are getting is from the creatine settling in your muscles because it is not being used properly. Cramping and bloating come with taking creatine unfortunately, however sometimes it is from using too much of a dose or a cheaper brand of creatine. You should also do your cardio last. Do your weight training then comsume a protein/carb drink and do your running after the weights or later on.

Good Luck

One thing a trainer told me is that you should not lift two days in a row. Your body needs 24 hours to recover from that type of workout. Cardio on the other hand is something you can and should do every day. Good luck!

Sorry, but Cramps come along with strenuous training. I would recommend making sure you have enough Potassium in your diet, stretching before and after your workouts, and maybe taking some Advil or Motrin to minimize the cramping.

creatine increases intramuscular hydration you need to increase your water intake above normal levels.

weights before cardio. if you perform cardio first muscle glycogen stores are depleted and your resistance training will suffer greatly. or you can alternate days when you do cardio and resistance training.
