I like it & my guess is your mother will too....
" OH YE OF LITTLE FAITH"
THE PARABLE OF THE MUSTARD SEED.
THE LORD SAID. " AMEN I SAY TO YOU,
IF YOU HAVE FAITH
THE SIZE OF A MUSTARD SEED,
YOU WILL BE ABLE TO MOVE MOUNTAINS.
NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU!"
MATTHEW 17:20

Who is the gift for? It is a very interesting gift, to be sure. Unless it is someone familiar with the parable of the mustard seed, you may want to include a note along with it.
Considering the asking price on the site, it's not anything more than costume jewelry and not worth much.
I would say if you're doubtful enough to ask on Yahoo! Answers it it's cheap, then it most likely is.

I don't think the necklace looks too cheap to be a gift, but what kind of gift is it? If this is a wedding gift, then yes, it looks and is too cheap to be a present. If it's a gift for a bridesmaid/maid of honor, then I would say that the necklace is okay, but pair it with a nice jewelry box or something. The price of the necklace is cheap, but that doesn't mean the gift is. Gifts are from the heart and if this is something you know she will love, then get it.

I don't think it looks to cheap, but I think you should write to the person selling it and see what it is made out of, you never know on EBay it could be plastic or fake. It is beautiful and I love the story of the mustard seed.

If it comes from you her daughter, she will treasure it. I like it and the mustard seed has meaning to you and her, so I would definitely give it to her. It is difficult to know if it looks cheap, because you are only viewing a photo, but ebay is pretty good. If you don't like it, return it to the seller for money back. I am a seller on ebay and I give a money back guarantee.

Sounds like a nice idea for a gift, but I can't really tell from the pic on ebay if it looks cheap or not. I suppose as long as you are getting her other things it's fine. If it turns out to look cheap in person you can always get her a nicer version and keep that one for yourself or resell it.

Not in the picture but you know it is for that price. Don't be cheap with bridesmaids gifts. They spent a lot of time and money being in the wedding. You can at least spend $20+ per girl.

Generally, you really do get what you pay for when it is that inexpensive for jewelry. There is also the old adage that it is the thought that counts. If it holds sentimental value, then go for it! It will mean more to her than money can buy if it is something you two share a memory with.

Nope not at all. Do you know what the mustard seed represents though? Maybe you should include a little piece of paper with it neatly typed out.

You always get what you pay for! The picture looks nice but the silver finish may wear off quickly. I think I'd spend a few more bucks and get something of better quality.
