I would suggest trying a little extra cardio each day (20 minutes or so) this will help your total body burning (calories) and jump start metabolism. If you reall want to kick it up you could do 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening. Also, here are a few things that you can do to help lose those extra pounds.
-- drink lots of water -- it helps clean out your system and control your appetite.
-- drink a glass of water right before each meal -- this helps you not fill up on calories and water is good for you anyway
--cut out calories by not drinking juices or soda
-- set a goal to not each after a certain time at night (7pm etc.) Its best not to go to bed soon after eating.
--try eating 6 or more small meals a day instead of two or three large meals. This is easier for your body to burn.
I just lost 14 pounds and these tricks helped me (I weighed 145 and now 131) Good Luck!

Starving won't work. Your body goes into starvation mode and tries to minimize calories burned.
Your best bet is to eat half-portions and exercise a lot more. If you have the time, go for a brisk walk for about an hour each day. If you live near a high-rise, stair-climbing is excellent exercise. Do it for about a half hour each day. At worst, you'll convert fat to muscle which is denser (not as thick for the same weight) and as a bonus, muscle burns calories faster.
I found the Atkins worked for me, but then you really have to stick to that "no carbs" thing religiously for a few weeks.
Good luck.

I recommend weight watchers. You can bye the at home kit online. It's around $100.00. You will get a 1 year subscription to the magazine. It's easy to do without starving. You just keep up with points. You don't have to go to meetings with the at home kit however meetings help some people more. I lost 10lbs in 1 month with the kit. You can also speed up the process by exercising too. Good luck and congrats!

The South Beach Diet has worked wonders for me. I always had a hard time losing weight, but I lost over 15 pounds quickly and have kept it off for over 2 years. The plan is pretty easy to follow, and all their food and recipes are great! My fiance, who is not into diet food, takes all my cereal bars and gobbles down the food I make.

Especially with this...you NEED to talk to your doctor!! There are a lot of "fad" and "crash" diets out there, but they wreak absolute HAVOC on your body!! Think about it...it's your wedding day, and you're at your ideal weight...but your skin is peeling, your hair is falling out, and you can barely walk. Not too tempting.
I applaud you for living a healthy lifestyle...but PLEASE talk to your doctor before you start something new!
Best of luck and congratulations!
