I take good care of my skin and fortunately don't really break out, but my pores are so large! Is there any way to reduce their appearance? I do a at-home microdermabrasion once a week and use a gentle exfoliating cleanser and a moisturizer everyday. Anything else I should be doing?

Use a moisturizer w/ retinol. Retinol is a weaker form of Retin-A, a vitamin A derivative. Brands to consider: Neutrogena, ROC

The other thing you can do is see a dermatologist & ask about Retin-A. This is a prescription form of retinol. It promotes cell turnover & stimulates collagen production.

Clay masks absorb oils & temporarily tighten pores. Murad makes a good one. Beauty w/o Cruelty's clay mask is a good bargain. Origin's Charcoal clay mask is good too.

Steam facials can help too. Here's how to DIY: http://www.ehow.com/how_2564_give-yourself-facial.html

Some home remedies:

Crush 4 - 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask. Or mix them with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask or aloe vera gel instead of water. Apply a thin layer to your clean face & let dry for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ cool water.

Apply a thin layer of plain milk of magnesia, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, rinse off w/ cool water & a clean wash cloth. Plain milk of magnesia will absorb excess oil & temporarily tighten pores.

Make a mask of 1/3 cup plain yogurt, 2 tbsp. ground oatmeal, 2 tsp. honey. Apply & let sit for 15-20 minutes. Yogurt has lactic acid to help removed old skin cells. The ground oatmeal soothes the skin and provides more exfoliation. Honey has anti-bacterial properties & provides a bit of moisture.

Clean & Clear has a toner especially for it. I think it is called pore minimizer, and it really works. I use it after i wash my face and before i put my moisturizer on. You should be able to notice a difference after a couple of days.

Clinique has a really good line for skin care. They also have a product to shrink your pores. Try it out. It is really good.

Add a toner to your routine, that will help shrink your pores. Use it right after washing your face.
