not officially, just through their actions which speak louder than words -
they still produce gas guzzlers,
they give lip service to "hydrogen" cars (to delay and confound politicians),
they haven't produced a full line of hybrid cars even though they had plenty of time since 2000.
Some clowns think global warming is costing their jobs at GM but in reality those clowns are working so that GM executives can give themselves golden parachutes. All the clowns are going to get is a golden Mexican that will replace them when the plant gets relocated to Mexico.

The Global Climate Coalition, a group of global warming deniers, went out of existence in 2002. Even 5 years ago the proof that global warming is mostly man made was so obvious, it was embarrassing for any modern company to belong to such a silly and unscientific group.

What GM just joined was the US Climate Action Partnership, a large group of industries and environmentalists banding together to fight man made global warming. Many major US companies are members.

Global warming is very profitable for business. Wal-Mart is getting on the green band wagon because they know that they will be number 1 seller of CF lamps.

GM isn't doing this out of the kindness of their hearts.

i'm seeing my dream of a factory big block 09 camaro going down the tubes.... sigh.

496 BB/T56 AND 4.10'S out back, in the camaro, would be SOOOOOOOOOOO wicked.

instead i have nightmares of "comes equiped with the 10 hp ecotech motor"
