I am alone walking in a spiritual desert avoiding pot holes and snakes. Seeing mirages of myself. Suffering confusion and disorientation. Trying too hard to find my path again.
Please share a pearl to help me find my path again.

Beware of the snakes that litter the path that you walk! There are many snakes and they have many different colours and many various venom's! they will try to lure you into their nests and try to confuse you with their poison. One bitten, the venom will spread throughout your veins, infesting your mind and body until you are helpless against its power of persuasion! The paths leading to enlightenment are many, take the shortcut that has no snakes, this journey will be one of personal joy, one that will lead you to your journey's end without the interference of snakes.

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Since Abraham was called and is the father of faith you would do well to study his life.

You will see he was called out of paganism and began a life of walking with God, with a personal trust and relationship with God based upon God's revelation, not on others.

It is said of him that he saw Christ and rejoiced to see His day.

I would also recommend you read John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress and perhaps also his Grace abounding.

Never mind your path, that will not help you at all. Find the path to God. I doubt that you will find that easy until you become aware of and are troubled by your sin, which separates you from God.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

It will not be an easy path but really there is no other option. And once gained, the comfort of the Guide is sufficient for all things.

Walk the path, don't avoid the pot holes nor snakes. Because they could very well be part of whole journey. We all suffer so it is unavoidable. Confusion is based on spiritual dilemma. Don't try too hard. Force cannot achieve any goals. Rather let it free. Breath in and breath out. Simply find the joy in everything you do. You will love your life like no other. Its beautiful to be in this world. Contentment & joyfulness are the essence of our life.

Hi,
The one thing I can tell you is that yes you will have to do some thinking and meditating. More importantly it is not what we think, but that we are thinking in line with what God thinks. What he thinks, is given to us in the bible.

Here is a few paragraphs from a link I am sending to you.

For example, a number of people in the Macedonian city of Beroea "received the word [of God] with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things [explained by Paul and his companions] were so." (Acts 17:11) Two things are worth noting here. First, the Beroeans were eager to listen to God's Word; second, they did not blindly assume that what they heard was correct, but they referred back to the Scriptures. The Christian missionary Luke humbly commended the Beroeans for this, calling them "noble-minded." Do you reflect such a noble mind in your approach to spiritual matters?

Note that they were carefully examining the scriptures to see if it was so.

The bible tells us that taking in this knowledge means our everlasting life. What better reason is there for looking for this path you are searching for? Why not start a study of your own today? Call your local Kingdom Hall or:

Mmm not sure these are spiritual but they are a few things my gran used to say that I have always remembered.
1) take time to smell the flowers (dont be so blinkered and rush through life, slow down sometimes and enjoy the simple things)
2) dont do anything to other people that you wouldnt like doing to yourself
3) always wear a vest (well she wasnt always right!)

OOh and one from me ....remember....the bad times make the good times better (some hardship makes you appreciate the times when things are going well, )

Trusting one master
M't:6:24: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
M't:6:25: Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
M't:6:26: Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
M't:6:27: Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
M't:6:28: And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
M't:6:29: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
M't:6:30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
M't:6:31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
M't:6:32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
M't:6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
M't:6:34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
GOD BLESS

This sounds like the 40 days and 40 nights Jesus spent in the Desert. You are not alone, for God is with you. If you only believe. This is probably not what you were looking for but it is the truth.

The greatest spiritual pearl, and wisdom, is within you. Trust yourself, seek your own path, eventually truth will reveal itself for you.

Please, seek the LORD. He's done sooooo......... much for me. literally, he picked me up out of the darkness and placed me in his light. My life now is
so full of joy with the lord. He filled me with his comforter "the Holy Spirit" the spirit of truth. He forgave me of all of sins, those wrongs i had done.
i'm lost without him. So, i always trust in him to listen to me and give me comfort when I need it. I feel so safe now when i used to feel so paranoid all the time. Anything is possable with GOD! So, if your confused, pray to the lord jesus. Jesus died for everyone, so in doing that they that believed in him could be saved from enternal damnnation and live enternaly with him and the father. So, believe that and that he also rose from the dead and live forever! Ask for forgiveness of all your sins. tell him everthing. He already knows your secrets but he wants you to tell him them and TRUST in him and BELIEVE that he will forgive you of them.Do this and mean it with all you heart. And after you recieve him in your heart, praise him for it. then turn away from sin and live everyday for the LORD. i'm telling you i have a purpose now. I used to think i didn't but now I found it! Live for the lord everyday, obeying him, and only wanting The Lord's WAY and not your way. Doing his will and your will. if i could tell you everything, my family and people has seen a great change in me. The LORD turned me around. He helps me growing spiritilly in him. to become more like him.( Christ Like) I am in him now and He is in me and we are as one, now! To know that he will always protect those that belong to him makes feel so happy. I hope you listen. if you want to read the bible, the living Bible would help you to understand more. To start out, read the New Testament. The four gospels. 8:12 Jesus says, " I am the light of the world. So if you follow me, you won't be stumbling through the darkness, for the living light will flood your path. James 3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure and full of quiet gentlness .Then it is peace, loving and courteous. it allows discussion and is willing to yield to others; it is wholehearted and staight forward and sincere. If you want to live for him, he will help you along the path. But you have to sincerely want to with all your heart and die to self and follow him. Meaning die to old self and recieve your new life living for him. Free from sin. if you have any questions, you can contact me.
